Great Himalayan Culture and Nature in Nepal

Nepal is covered by 75% Jungle and 50% hill with Mountain. Most of the lands are hilly and green forest. It has 3 levels of highland means Plain, Hill and Mountain Region. Low Land starts from 200 meters to 900 meters from Sea Level. Hills are above 1600 meters to 2500 meters from Sea Level. Mountain Area starts from 3000 Meters to 8848 meters high from Sea Level. So all kinds of climates and environments can be experience in Nepal.

Low Land of Nepal is popular for farming and wildlife safari in different many National Parks where many kinds of wild animals and birds can be seen with many jungle activities. Chitwan National Park and Bardia National Park are very popular for jungle activities.

A middle position of area is mostly Hilly area and valleys. Kathmandu, Pokhara and other cities are suitable for tour and hiking some hilly areas. Nagarkot, Shivapuri, Chamadevi, Dhulikhel and Thankot Hill are suitable and affordable for Hiking. These are above 1600 to 2200 meteres high from Sea Level. People can see long and long Himalayan ranges with green nature, cultural villages etc.

Other highest parts are measured as mountain and Himalayan region. These area are used for trekking routes and climbing to high mountain of the world. It has more than 10 peaks which has more than 8000 meters high from sea level and also highest peak of the World Mount Everest also lies in Nepal.

There are many trekking routes and region in Himalayan zone those called Everest Base Camp Trek, Gosaikunda Trek, Annapurna Base Camp Trek, Panch Pokhari Trek, Ghorepani Poon Hill Trek, Panchase Trek, Manaslu Trek, Annapurna Circuit Trek, Langtang Valley Trek, Gokyo Lake Trek, Kanchenjunga Trek, Makalu Trek etc.

One can do varieties of travel and trekking activities with some adventure travel like Paragliding, Bungy Jumping, Rafting, Mountain Bike riding and Canyoning.
