Nepal is situated between two giant countries India and China. India is in East, West and Southern parts. China is in northern part of Nepal. Especially Tibet is in northern part of Nepal which is the part of China.

There are fours seasons in Nepal which are as follows:

# Spring (between March – May): The temperature is mildly warm in low lands while moderate in higher altitudes with plenty of opportunities to have tryst with the mountain views. It is also the time for flowers to blossom and the national flower of Nepal – rhododendron sweeps the ascending altitudes with its magnanimous color and beauty.

# Summer (between June – August): This is also the monsoon season in Nepal. The weather is hot and wet at times. It rains almost everyday with occasional thunderstorms in the evening. The rain spreads the pleasantness around with lush green vegetation.

# Autumn (between September – November): This is the best tourist season in Nepal with the summer gone by and the winter to set in. The weather is highly pleasant so are the mountain views. This is the peak season for trekking as mountain views are guaranteed so better book your flight in advance. This is also the season of festivities as Nepal celebrates the biggest Hindu festivals Dashain followed by Tihar.

# Winter (between December – February): The weather is cool and the sky is clear with occasional snowfalls at higher elevations. This season is good for trekking in lower elevations. The morning and night is cold and the days are pretty good.

The following is the list of entry and exit points for the foreigners entering into Nepal and departing from the country. Upon entry, the immigration officials stamps on your passports with the permit to enter and explore the Himalayan Kingdom. But before you leave the desk of the immigration official make sure to check the stamp and the date. Usually, the immigration offices at these entry and exit points are open 24 hours.

General Information: Nepal extends trouble-free issuance of visa to all the citizens worldwide at Royal Nepalese Embassies or Consulates abroad and at entry-point Immigration Offices. Presentation of a valid passport, two passport size photos and fees mentioned below are required.

Latest News: His Majesty's Government of Nepal has announced a new policy of waiving visa fee for any tourist visiting the country for a period of 3 days. Similarly tourists coming from South Asian countries (SAARC) as well as neighboring People's Republic of China will also get free visa to Nepal. Likewise arrangements have been made to provide free visa for any national for re-entry to Nepal provided those tourists have stayed at least for 15 days in the country in a visa year (Jan-Dec). 

It’s important that you always travel with your current passport, visas, travel insurance and Adventure Land Nepal documentation (trip documents).

It is depend on trip. For normal trip around the city area and small hiking, normal clothes and sport shoes are enough to fit. On a more physical trip, hiking boots are definitely recommended. If the physical rating is under 3, hiking boots or sneakers/runners will be adequate. Many Adventure Land Nepal treks will be hiking in near freezing environments so please be sure to research the climate and weather conditions at the time of year you will be trekking and pack accordingly. Travel insurance is compulsory for all Adventure Land Nepal travellers and should be taken out at the time of booking. You must provide proof of your travel insurance on the first day of your trip; you will not be able to join the trip without it.

As soon as you are sure which dates you wish to travel, we would advise you to make your reservation. During traditionally busy periods (Christmas, Dashain Festival, Deepwali and New Year occasion, spring season, autumn season), we would book as early as possible. To obtain the lowest trip price must be book within 6 months to 1 month or more in advance. Some destinations as the city tour, day hiking, short tour like as 2/7 days tour and trekking are no advance purchase is required. 

No.  The deposit requirements are set by Adventure Land Nepal Tour Agency (deposit rates vary based on the package trip you select).  One has to deposit certain amount according to our terms and conditions to make sure the trip. Due amount have to be paid after arriving in Kathmandu, Nepal before get starting your trip.
