The Everest View Trek is relatively short and less challenging for people who are not so much enthusiastic about taking the wild road to exploration.
However, the trail has a unique appeal of its own because of the spectacular view that one gets to enjoy of the mighty Mt. Everest and other mountains. There are other tourist attractions that the Everest View Trek boasts of are – the local flora and fauna, the historic monasteries and the wonderful environment. Travellers can also get to explore the culture and tradition of the local Sherpa community that dwell in the region. It is not necessary that you require any kind of physical fitness for this adventure and therefore, is suitable for both old people and children and even for those who are on a short holiday trip.

The Journey to the Everest View
Travellers will be beginning their journey from the Lukla that lies at an altitude of 9278 feet. Lukla is also one of the busiest mountain airstrips of Nepal and serves as the gateway to the Everest region. Your journey to the Everest Mountain will continue the lush vegetation of the Sagarmatha National Park, surrounded with an abundance of pine trees, rhododendron flowers and wildlife.
You will be taken through several Sherpa villages namely – Namche Bazaar, Phakding, Khunde village, Khumjung village, Phorte village and several other villages. Every village that you pass will offer you spectacular view of the mountains from different angles. If you are a keen photographer, do not miss out the chance to carry along with you some snap shots. A day of rest in Namche is important in order to be acclimatized to the higher altitudes.
The Tengboche Monastery
You will also get to visit the famous Tengboche Monastery that sits at a height of 3860 meter. This is one of the highlights of the region and is known for offering a superb view of the Everest and other mountains belonging to the region. That is why, the trek to the Tengboche monastery is termed as the Everest View Trek. Most expedition groups visit the monastery in order to seek the blessing of the Lama who resides there.
It is very reputed among photographers, because the place allows them to capture the rugged beauty of the Mt. Everest, the Amadablam and other neighboring peaks. You can also visit Syanboche, from where you can capture stunning images of the Everest and other Khumbu mountains that lie in the region.
Khumjung is the biggest Sherpa village that lies in the Khumbu Mountains. You can visit the Buddhist monasteries there, the famous Hillary school and even the famous Yaks. You will get to enjoy the warm hospitality of the local Sherpa people. This will tell you a lot about their culture and their style of living. From here travellers can take a short flight to Kathmandu, which will give you the chance to enjoy the spectacular view of the Himalayan range and the people. After arriving in Kathmandu Airport, our representative picks you up and transfers to Hotel.
Half Day City Tour at Kathmandu Valley and Trekking preparation.
Morning drive to Airport and fly to Lukla and a short trek (2-3 hours to) to Phakding at 8,661 feet. The flight into Lukla is similar to the Everest View flight for attractive views and beauty.
The trail climbs gradually following the river and enters the Everest National Park at Jorsale, then crosses the river and climbs steeply up to Namche (11,100 feet). (4-6 hours).
Namche/ Rest day or day hike possible. Namche is capital of the Khumbu district and offers many ways to spend a day.
After breakfast, get on the trail and descend to the Dudh Koshi River. Continue on an ascent through conifer and Rhododendron forests to Tengboche. The Tengboche Monastery is situated on a ridge and is surrounded by mountains including Thamserku, Kangtenga and Ama Dablam.
Rest and Explore the Tengboche. Visit Tengboche Monastery and walk around that area from where you will see nice view of Everest and other many peaks too.
Retrace the trail to Phunkitenga. Divert to Khumjung and spend the afternoon visiting the famous Hillary School and having a snack at the world's highest bakery. Trekking time is about 5-6 hours. Overnight in Khumjung.
After breakfast, start your long 5 hour descent to Monjo. Overnight in Monjo.
Get back on the trail trekking five hours into Lukla. Overnight in Lukla. (All meals)
In the morning flight, from Lukla back to Kathmandu. Our guide will take you to Hotel.
After long days trekking, you will take rest hotel or walk around street market for shopping gift, souvenir for your family and friend.
This day we will see you off for your onward destination from Nepal.
